Job Description

The Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce (CACC) California is seeking an Event Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of events.

The Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all CACC California events while supporting sponsorship development and event success. This position reports directly to the Executive Director of the California Chapter and works closely with chapter leadership, committees, sponsors, vendors, and community stakeholders.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all CACC California events from concept through onsite delivery, including logistics, venue coordination, vendor management, attendee experience, and event programming.
  • Conceptualize and host virtual events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with event sponsors, supporting sponsorship fulfillment and engagement efforts.
  • Coordinate and support event committees, volunteers, and board members to ensure successful event execution.
  • Manage event registration, RSVP tracking, and attendee communications.
  • Collaborate with marketing efforts to promote events and maximize attendance.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, venues, caterers, printers, and other service providers.
  • Attend and oversee CACC California events to ensure a positive experience for attendees and sponsors.
  • Prepare post-event reports, including attendance metrics, sponsor fulfillment, and event performance outcomes.
  • Evaluate event success and recommend improvements for future programming.
  • Assist with creating, scheduling, and posting social media content to promote events, increase community engagement, and support organizational marketing efforts.
  • Travel throughout California as needed to support CACC events and engagement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in event planning, coordination, sponsorship development, or related experience.
  • Experience with CRM systems, event registration platforms, and virtual meeting tools preferred.
  • Experience using social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and email marketing tools for event promotion, marketing, or organizational communications preferred.
  • Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively with staff, volunteers, board members, and community stakeholders.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
  • Occasional bending, lifting, and carrying items up to 15 pounds.

The Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce (CACC) California is seeking a Membership Director to lead membership growth and engagement.

The Membership Director is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of membership growth, retention, and engagement initiatives for the California Chapter. This role focuses on building a strong and active membership base, increasing member value, and strengthening long-term relationships within the business community. This position reports directly to the Executive Director of the California Chapter and works closely with CACC leadership, members, sponsors, and community stakeholders.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Lead membership growth, retention, and engagement strategies for CACC California.
  • Drive new member acquisition through outreach, networking, community engagement, and social media initiatives that promote CACC California membership, programs, and events.
  • Oversee the full membership lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, retention, and renewals.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for CACC California members, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with members, business leaders, and community stakeholders to support CACC California growth.
  • Track and analyze membership data using CRM systems to guide strategy and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align membership initiatives with events and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Partner with the Event Coordinator to maximize member participation and visibility at CACC California events.
  • Represent the CACC at business and community events throughout California to support membership growth and engagement.
  • Develop and manage membership campaigns, renewals, and retention initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance member value through programs, benefits, and partnerships.
  • Provide regular membership performance reports and strategic updates to executive leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Proven track record of membership growth, retention, or revenue generation.
  • Experience with CRM systems and tools for reporting, communication, and membership management preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with executive leadership and community stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices, with experience using social media to promote membership, programs, events, and organizational communications preferred.
